Parent Teacher Association
Parent Teacher Association is a formal organization composed of parents, teachers and staff that is intended to facilitate parental participation in an Academic institution.
Government has published detailed guidelines for Parent Teachers Associations (PTA) formation and its activities in Govt / Aided institutions. The first meeting of PTA in Higher education institutions should be within one month after completion of admissions whereas it should be conducted in the month of June itself.

REPORT OF THE RETIREMENT FUNCTION & HONOURING CEREMONY

The Retirement Function & Honouring Ceremony organized by the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of M S M College, Kayamkulam, was conducted with grandeur and heartfelt appreciation for the contributions of Prof. (Dr.) K. I. Razia and other esteemed faculty members. The event witnessed the presence of eminent personalities, faculty members, students, and well-wishers who gathered to express their gratitude and admiration for the retiring professor and other honorees.
The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Jayalekshmi B, the Secretary of PTA, who expressed her gratitude to the dignitaries and attendees. She acknowledged the dedicated service of Prof. (Dr.) K. I. Razia and other faculty members and set the tone for the occasion.The Principal of M S M College, Prof. (Dr.) A. Muhammad Thaha, delivered the presidential address. He highlighted the invaluable contributions of Prof. (Dr.) Razia and other honored faculty members to the academic and institutional development of the college and emphasized their role in inspiring generations of students.The function was formally inaugurated by Al Haj P. A. Hilal Babu, the Hon. Manager cum Secretary of M S M College. In his speech, he commended the dedication and commitment of the faculty and expressed his best wishes for their future endeavors.A special memento was presented to Prof. (Dr.) K. I. Razia as a token of appreciation and gratitude for her exceptional service to the institution. Additionally, mementos were presented to the IQAC Coordinator, NAAC Coordinator, KIRF Coordinator, PhD awarded faculties, the convenor of the college infrastructure development and beautification cell, and the Syndicate Member in recognition of their outstanding contributions.
Several distinguished guests extended their felicitations and shared their experiences of working with the honorees. Dr. T. R. Manoj( Syndicate Member, University of Kerala,. Dr. Amina A, Cheeramath Rasheed, Vice President, PTA. Dr. Anil Kumar K. M, Council Secretary, Shajahan Panoor, Joint Secretary, PTA, etc applauded the unwavering service of Dr Razia and her impact on students.
In an emotional yet inspiring speech, Prof. (Dr.) K. I. Razia reflected on her journey at M S M College. She expressed gratitude to her colleagues, students, and the institution for their support and shared memorable moments from her career. The event also included a prize distribution ceremony where meritorious students were honored for their academic and extracurricular achievements. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Anwar Hussain, Treasurer, PTA. He expressed appreciation to all guests, faculty members, and attendees for making the event a grand success.
