Commerce Department
The Department of Commerce commenced B.Com degree in 1978, with the objective of equipping students to endure with the vogue in the field of Business and Commerce. To exploit the new opportunities in the field of commerce the department started to offer Post-graduate Degrees in the year 1981.
The department was instrumental in organizing campus to corporate training and skill development programs aligned with the motto of quality business education and serve humanity through the creation of multi-skilled and socially responsible global citizens. The Department also gives necessary assistance to students in organizing debates, seminars, quiz competitions and other educational and intellectual activities. The PTA also functions effectively and takes interest in the functioning of the department. The growing demand for industrial and commercial scenarios is met through the educational facilities offered by this department. The aim of the department is not only converged on imparting awareness in the frontier fields of Commerce, but also to engrave the students in excelling conduct and caliber committed to the community needs and societal development. The department proffers an exemplary collegiate environment to learn commerce in a contemplative setting.
