National Reading Day was celebrated at M.S.M College , Kayamkulam under the auspices of the Literacy Mission Club. The event aimed to instill reading habits and a sense of humanity in students by highlighting the importance of reading and the relevance of their mother tongue.Mrs. Latha V, Assistant Professor of malayalam and college-level coordinator of the Kerala State Literacy Mission Club, presided over the function.

Mrs. Shafeena S, Assistant Professorof commerce and club co-convener, discussed the significance of Reading Day and the benefits of reading.

Mr. Ramshad Rahim Assistant Professor of Arabic and club member, delivered a speech in memory of P.N. Panicker, the founder of the Library Group, emphasizing the glory of reading. Student representatives shared their reading experiences, promoting a culture of reading among their peers.
